The Book of the Cat features feline art and illustration by artists from around the world

The Book of the Cat by Pentagram partner Angus Hyland and journalist and author Caroline Roberts is a cool and quirky collection of feline art and illustration by well-known artists from around the world. Cats, of course, have been revered by artists since ancient times for their beauty, grace, independence and air of mystery (or indifference, depending on how you look at them).

Angus Hyland is a partner at Pentagram Design in London. Caroline Roberts is a journalist and author who writes predominantly about the graphic arts. She is the co-author of New Book Design and 50 Years of Illustration, to name but a few. She is also the co-founder of Grafik magazine.
