Rain Room: Art installation that lets you experience rain indoors without getting wet
Imagine walking into a dark room that has its own internal downpour and thunderstorms, yet as you walk through the space – you don't ever get wet. Rain Room is an installation of falling water through which it's possible to walk, trusting that a path can be navigated, without ever being drenched in the process.

Exploring both art and technology, London-based experimental studio Random International has already successfully exhibited its unusual installation in New York and London; now it has launched at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Using approximately 528 gallons of recycled and used water, it's a self-contained system where visitors can dance in the rain, hear the sounds and feel the moisture of a thunderstorm, but stay completely dry and protected at the same time.
